Butte-Silver Bow offers abundant, affordable supplies of water, power and natural gas as well as state-of-the-art telecommunications services.
  • Large water needs are met reliably with an 11-million gallon/day supply piped from lakes consistently fed by high mountain snowfall.
  • NorthWestern Energy, a regulated investor-owned utility, is the electrical utility provider. For larger power customers, affordable power supplies can be negotiated with preferred power providers and delivered through NorthWestern.
  • Plentiful, cost-effective natural gas supplies also come thru NorthWestern, one of the largest gas providers in the U.S. northwest quadrant.
  • The Montana Connections Business Development Park is served by a 14” waste water line. The line is operated by Butte-Silver Bow and is connected to the publicly owned metro treatment facility.
  • Qwest Communications, Inc. provides both business and residential phone service to the area, along with long distance and high-speed Internet options. Zayo provides high-speed fiber optic communications products and services in the western United States offering a comprehensive range of voice and data solutions. A large number of additional nationwide services are available for long distance, cell phone and Internet service including Sprint, Verizon Wireless, Cellular One and Alltel along with other national and local Internet providers.
